The woods looks beautiful with snow on the pine branches. The coffee with friends is great at the local Big Boy, how could life get any better?
This is an abandoned farm house south of Tecumseh. It is probably over 100 years old.(the house, not the painting.)

This summer we have been going to a great farmers market in Adrian, where I have been taking photos and am sure there is a painting of that market in my future.
We buy all these great looking vegetables and so many of them end up being part of a still life before we can eat them.
Here are three ears of fresh corn on the cob that I just couldn't resist painting. I don't live to eat, I live to paint what I eat.
This painting and six other small works can be seen in Clinton, Michigan, at a new shop called Maves Fashion Faves.
Check them out. They carry clothing, jewelry and home decor, all at great prices. www.mavesfashionfaves.com
