The Angry Painter

So it begins. What starts ugly, becomes beautiful. 🤩 And … since I can’t touch my oil painting, gotta do something. On my last piece, The Sentinel, I really enjoyed painting an old beat up car, so this one will have a similar theme. 😎

Any fans of Portlandia up in hur? “I put a bird on it.” 😅

I feel like this painting I’ll keep working on for Montana’s in the eating I’ll paint acrylic paintings. Oil is hard.

Here we go. This one will be devoid of hoodie guy, but there will be remnants of him being there. 30x30 canvas. I found this canvas at a thrift shop and it’s just been sitting there for months. Excited to paint this one. 🥳

I think I may resurrect this. This is probably 15 years old, never finished it. Maybe I should 🤷‍♂️ as a painting? Just for funsies.

I’m gonna be a busy guy this year. Got into another/different juried show in LA. They said they only pick 40 pieces out of 800, so that’s something. I don’t know what it is about this piece but the exhibits sure seem to like it. Maybe I should raise the price 🤔 Wendy Perlin

Did another study of the rock. Only this time with oils. Very different behaviors but there’s a lot more potential. The ability to blend so much longer is really powerful. Gradients are way easier to obtain. Glad I am checking it out. Ideas are rolling. 🤔
