Two years ago, I made the decision to get a tracheotomy—and it gave me more than just time, it gave me life back. My only regret is waiting so long out of fear. What once felt terrifying became the very thing that kept me here.

With my sister by my side, helping me rebuild day by day, I’ve found my way back to strength. I’ve gained 30 pounds, restored my health, and chosen clarity—leaving behind drinking and ma*****na for a life I can fully show up for.

Sometimes the scariest decisions are the ones that save us. Cheers.
