Something really special happened overnight 💛

A quiet little story I’ve been working on — The Mouse and the Butterfly — is now officially out in the world… along with its song.

This book was created for those soft, in-between moments — bedtime, slowing down, or when a child just needs a little extra comfort. It’s a gentle story about courage, calm, and taking one small step at a time.

If you have little ones (or know someone who does), I hope it brings a sense of peace, warmth, and reassurance.

I created something very gentle this week, and it’s been sitting softly in my heart.

It started as a simple idea… imagining what it might feel like to be a tiny mouse in the springtime, waking up in a quiet meadow with soft light, drifting petals, and nothing to do but wander and wonder.

As I worked on it, the music came just as softly. Then the story followed. And before I knew it, it became a little world.

I shared it with my grandchildren, and they watched it more than once… just quietly sitting with it. That was the moment I knew it felt right.
