Alumni Spotlight | Paul Bond 💙🌊

From the Temecula Valley Hawks to pursuing the professional game overseas, Paul’s journey is one we’re proud to celebrate.

During his time with the Hawks, Paul developed under coaches Nat Gonzalez, Norman Piper, David Halliday, Ryan Halliday, and Dakota Collins. His dedication earned him selection to the US Club Soccer id2 Program, a testament to the hard work and development that helped shape his path.

Since then, Paul has continued chasing his dream with opportunities in Spain and England, carrying with him the values and lessons he learned through the Hawks, now Empire Surf.

Take your game to the next level this summer at the Empire Surf Attacking & Defending Camp! Whether you’re looking to score more goals, shut down attackers, or simply become a more complete player, this camp is designed to help you build confidence and elevate your performance on the field.

Led by our professional coaching staff at the beautiful Galway Downs Soccer Complex, every session focuses on developing the individual technical skills that make the biggest difference during games. Players will work on attacking creativity, 1v1 moves, finishing, defending techniques, positioning, decision-making, and much more, all in a fun, positive, and challenging environment.

And of course, we’ll finish each session with exciting small sided games, giving every player the opportunity to put their new skills into action!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Empire Surf College Night at Galway Downs. It was an incredible evening filled with valuable insight into the college recruiting process, admissions, financial aid, and what it takes to succeed at the next level.

Our players and families had the opportunity to hear from experienced guest speakers who shared their personal journeys, lessons learned, and advice for navigating the path to college athletics and higher education.

At Empire Surf, we’re committed to developing more than just great soccer players, we’re dedicated to preparing confident, informed young adults for success both on the field and in the classroom.
