I think everyone can agree how magical American Girl Dolls were growing up - the stories, the imagination, the tiny details, and spending hours playing with cousins or friends completely invested in their little worlds.

I always dreamed of having an Doll as a child but never had one of my own. So when I saw they were re-releasing the original dolls for their 40th anniversary, I knew I had to have one for my daughter! We are Swedish so I chose Kirsten Larson because her story hits so close to home. My great grandfather immigrated to America from Sweden just like hers and I love that I can pass that tradition and family history down to my daughter. It’s so much more than just a doll - it’s a chance to share a little piece of my childhood, storytelling, and family history with the next generation.
