Cumbia is the dance from Columbia that has many steps incorporated into a Zumba workout. Many of the steps are inspired by the culture including the machete swipe! Imagine cutting down a cane with a machete, you want to sweep low at the bottom!! :) Enjoy your weekend~! Go Dance!

Zumba's creater is Beto Perez who was originally from Columbia. Do you know the Latin dance that is from Columbia? It is incorporated into many of our dance workouts!! Hint: its very similar to the name of the Country that it comes from...any guesses?
