What is Cyber Resilience?
Cyber resilience is the ability of an organization to continue operating effectively (or recover quickly) even when cyberattacks, data breaches, ransomware, system failures, or other major cyber incidents occur.

-It goes beyond traditional cybersecurity (which focuses mainly on preventing attacks) to emphasize preparation, response, and rapid recovery so that business-critical functions are not seriously disrupted.

Ransomware gangs now commonly delete or encrypt cloud backups first, so modern cyber-resilience strategies focus heavily on:

-Immutable and air-gapped backups (cannot be altered or deleted by attackers)
-Rapid detection and automated orchestration (SOAR platforms)
-Offline/clean-room recovery environments
-Cyber insurance requirements increasingly demand proven resilience capabilities
