We are so grateful to the California Workforce Development Board (CWDB) for helping us train and mobilize a front-line army of healthcare professionals and paraprofessionals — with a focus on mental and behavioral health as community health workers.
Last week's Computer Pickup Day is one more way this grant makes a difference: giving our students the tools they need to learn, grow, and gain meaningful employment while bridging the digital divide. Thank you, CWDB, for investing in people by the Power of Together and building a stronger, more resilient workforce in California.

We are so honored to be doing a work that is truly bridging the gap and meeting the and needs of youth across our state!
This Mental Health Awareness Month, we acknowledge the resilience of Autumn Hess of Murrieta, CA. Her story is a powerful reminder of how education can heal and transform.
After facing trauma and mental health challenges, she found hope through grantee The Empowerment Center’s holistic Certified Community Health Worker program. The state program is part of the California Community Colleges’ Vision 2030 initiative to expand access to career pathways in frontline health services.
