This project over-went a huge transformation; we started with an existing overlay that was failing in to many places to save. So we got busy removing. Underneath we found some serious issues with the concrete needing repair.

Many spots we chipped and replaced concrete, others we were able to salvage with some crack repair and some serious elbow grease on the grinders. Installed a full moisture barrier system and a sand broadcast.

With a whole lot of taping and masking all the brick, we finished it off with 2 coats of TC-3 cement followed up with 2 coats of acrylic sealer in concrete grey. Which tied it all together for that new concrete look our client was looking for.

We went with a very mild texture, as the brick is the main focal point of this property and that’s how it needed to stay.
