In construction, one number says a lot about a company's safety culture: the EMR (Experience Modification Rate).

An EMR is a workers' compensation rating that compares a company's claims history against the industry average.
▪ 1.00 = industry average
▪ Below 1.00 = better-than-average safety performance
▪ The lower the number, the better the loss history
For construction companies, especially those performing heavy industrial work, maintaining a low EMR is extremely difficult. The work environments are complex, physically demanding, and high risk.

That's why we are incredibly proud that our company has achieved a 0.50 EMR for 2026 after years of continuous improvement:
▪ 2022 – 0.82
▪ 2023 – 0.68
▪ 2024 – 0.66
▪ 2025 – 0.66
▪ 2026 – 0.50

For an operation of our size with boilermakers, millwrights, laborers, carpenters, drivers, shop welders and fabricators, and support staff across our organization, this represents far more than a statistic. It reflects:
