Discover your sound at ASU’s Popular Music Program summer camp.

This summer, we are excited to announce a special collaboration with Crossfader, the worlds leading DJ education platform known for its structured, industry-defining training programs. As part of their summer camp experience, campers will receive additional DJ support before and during camp from Crossfader and their DJs.

Guided by our world-class faculty and staff, summer camp students will explore their various interests, develop their musicianship, and prepare for studying music at the college level. At our state-of-the-art facility in Downtown Phoenix, participants will have hands-on experiences in our studio suites, performance and rehearsal spaces, writing rooms, and digital media labs, all outfitted with the latest technology.

During the day, you will write songs, compose and produce music, engineer and perform in the studio, collaborate with other students, perform on stage and get real-world advice from veteran songwriters, industry professionals, and up-and-coming artists. At night, you can experience college life in a dorm, attend programmed events and hang out with the other students.

Summer camp 2026 classes include DJing, songwriting, hand percussion, live sound engineering, popular music bands (rock, R&B, and more), voice and singing, loop stations and more.
