Apache Junction, Arizona

Sunrise on June 26th over the Superstition Mountain Ridgeline at 05:16am.
I was in the midst of my morning Walk-a-bout and noticed this sunrise happening right before my sleepy eyes. It looked like the Ridgeline was on fire and was so big that I had to take two pictures of it and splice them together into a single panorama.
Yesterday the rain storms were hitting Tucson and Globe, but they seem to be avoiding Apache Junction again.

From my driveway in Apache Junction

Sunrise over Apache Junction on Sunday April 12th at 5:57am.
Normally I post sunrise photos of the bright and colorful sunrise's that Arizona has become famous for. This sunrise, however, lacks those knockout colors but, after looking closely, the clouds have a painterly look about them. They appear to have been brushed over a featureless blue sky, one stroke, one color, at a time.
