Our community pet food bank shelves are nearly empty, and we desperately need dog food, cat food, and cat litter.

Any brand. Any size. Wet or Dry. Unopened donations only.

Our pet food bank serves families throughout the community who are facing hard times, helping them keep their beloved pets fed and at home where they belong. When these shelves run low, it impacts both people and pets who rely on this support.

May was full of second chances, happy reunions, and pets finding exactly where they belong. 🐾❤️

This month:
🏡 64 pets found loving homes through adoption
🐶 21 Temporary Care pets were reunited with their owners
🚓 4 pets safely made it back home through our Tempe PD First Responders Program

We also continued helping pets and people through our Adoption Home Trial Program, giving families the opportunity to bring a dog home temporarily before making the adoption official. Sometimes all a pet needs is the chance to settle into a real home environment for everyone to realize it’s the perfect match.

Every name on these boards represents a life changed, a family reunited, or a brand-new beginning. Thank you to everyone who adopted, fostered, donated, volunteered, and supported our mission this month. You are part of every happy ending we celebrate.

"I thought I’d want to adopt every foster cat… so I started with Temporary Care Program cats because I knew they already had families waiting for them.” ⭐ 🐾

Since then, our foster, Jennifer, has cared for 55 cats and counting!

She shared that most cats arrive shy, nervous, and unsure after their lives have been turned upside down. But once they settle into a calm home environment, their personalities start to shine.

She socializes kittens with vacuums, dogs, handling, guests, and everyday home life and even hosts “kitten soirées” where friends come over to help socialize foster kittens while hanging out together.
