Fresh off the press! Jones Studio is featured in Arizona Residential Architects (ARA31), spotlighting a handful of Eddie’s residential work. From a copper-roofed retreat tucked into the pines to a desert home settled right into the saguaros, each project finds its own quiet conversation with the landscape.
There’s also a fun matching game in this issue: can you pair each interior with its exterior? Head to the ‘Dwelling’ section of our website to take your best guess & see how well you know Jones Studio architecture.

Please help us welcome our new summer intern, Jay Natarajan! Jay brings a perspective shaped by world travels and a clear conviction about where the profession is headed.
Earlier this year, Jay was part of a student research team that received the Design Excellence Award for a modular fourplex ADU concept in Tucson — a design centered on solar energy collection and hydronic radiant heating and cooling systems to reduce long-term energy costs. The project was built around a question Tucson is actively asking itself: now that zoning allows multi-family housing on single-family lots, how do architects think differently about density, affordability, and sustainability?
We’re so glad you’re here!

We are proud to celebrate one of Jones Studio’s talented Associate Architects, Xander Jacobs. Xander recently graduated from Arizona Forward’s Emerging Sustainability Leaders 2025-26 cohort!
Xander learned alongside an incredible group of changemakers exploring water, energy, climate, and community resilience from the ground up.
His biggest takeaway? “There are real people behind the systems, institutions, and processes that both help and hinder our statewide push towards a sustainable relationship with our natural surroundings/resources. When these are viewed as abstract, it can seem daunting, even futile, to pursue change - but when they are understood as a pliable network of people it becomes clear that change can sought out - one relationship at a time.”
Thank you, Xander, for representing Jones Studio and reinforcing our dedication to creating architecture that matters.
This past Sunday, Rabbi Segal of Temple Chai welcomed AZ Family into the congregation’s new home.
Jones Studio Project Manager Rob Huff joined Rabbi Segal on camera to speak to what the campus is designed to do: let joy, light, community, security, and welcome coexist. The built-in flexibility of the space will allow the congregation to grow and change within their forever home.
We love when architecture serves its community.
