usually it’s “new year new hair”, but this year we are going “new year no hair”. new season of humility and growing back my natural curls from scratch. here’s to 27!

I had a lot of fun designing this tattoo and super thankful for and his skills bringing it to life on me!

in the byzantine era of art Jesus would posture with a hand symbol that looked like this. it was always his right hand held up with three fingers held up representing he is at the right hand side of God and the three fingers representing the trinity. the flower above is Asher’s birth flower (a poppy). all to say… after last year, God really did protect and carry our bubba through and I’m just so thankful. I have no doubt God has some rad stuff lined up for bub’s life. and stoked I get to have this personal symbolic piece on me till this body gives out. 🥲
