I used to dream about winning a trail race.
Not just finishing… winning.
A course record too.
My first trail race was in 2024 with basically no experience. Since then, there’s been wrong turns, blown races, suffering, getting humbled by the mountains, and even questioning if I should just stick to the roads.
But the trails teach you something different. They expose you. They force you to grow. That’s why I stayed with it.
Six races later:
1st place.
Course record.
A record untouched since 2022.
2 wins in 4 races this year. God is good.
From 4 miles to 50 to 100… I want all of it. The pain, the growth, the lessons, the wins.
And to everybody still saying the plant makes people lazy the only thing that’ll slow you down is you.
End the stigma.
