We’re hosting a free online session on June 8 for Tempe parents to better understand teen mental health, recognize early warning signs, and learn practical ways to support their teen if they are struggling.

61 local volunteers, nearly 5 months of intense reviews, and $1.1 million on the line.

Monday evening, we presented our volunteer-led Agency Review Assessment Findings to the Tempe City Council, fully aligned with the Social Determinants of Health. Since January, this incredible team has poured their time into evaluating local nonprofit applications.

With $1.1 million on the table, narrowing things down in such a competitive process was no easy task! But because the quality of the applicants and the critical needs of their programs were so high, nearly half of the nonprofit agencies were ultimately recommended for funding.

A massive thank you to our volunteers for doing the heavy lifting and making sure Tempe’s resources go right where there is the most need. 🤝
