The Force was with us last week in the library! We were thrilled to partner with our very own Workforce and Continuing Education department to host a group of LEGO campers from Academy ISD.
They got to see what a college library looks like, enjoy a mini storytime, learn about circuits and electricity, and create their very own lightsabers!

Today, our Hutto Librarians took a very important poll. If you had to choose, which desert island would you pick to be stranded on for a month? Scroll to see results!
Choices ranged from:
A. Luxury Lagoon with luxury bed but you wake up each hour to screeching birds.
B. Reel Reef has every movie available to watch, but no shade.
C. Sunshine Coast has perfect weather daily, but thousands of snakes.
D. Gourmet Jungle with unlimited pizza, but the island has no fresh water.
With 7 votes, EWCHEC largely chose Luxury Lagoon, while 3 unlucky islanders chose to be stranded on Sunshine Coast, and 5 well-fed but thirsty folks are committed to camping out in the Gourmet Jungle.
