Our groovy new exhibition Flower Power is now live, with plenty to explore—from botanical displays full of iconic ‘60s nostalgia to musical performances, crafts, and even a gallery exhibition spotlighting the photography and visual art of the era (including Andy Warhol!)

We’re all hard at work putting together Flower Power, our celebration of flowers as symbols of peace and love—and it’s not long now till it opens on Saturday, May 23. Get a sneak peek at the work our horticulturists are doing to get this lively exhibition ready for the big moment, along with the music, art, and homages to hippie culture soon to bring us all together in nature.

We’ve got some new residents at the garden—of the fluffy and feathery variety! 🦉
After much waiting and watching by our staff, a pair of Great-Horned Owls successfully raised a nest of three rowdy owlets, who recently fledged to join their parents on their return to the deeper parts of the Thain Forest. We can’t wait to see what the rest of spring brings for our bird community!
