Praying with understanding and praying in tongues are two modes of prayer which are encouraged in the church because of the unique benefits that each has. Whereas praying with understanding enables agreement, praying in tongues enables one to speak mystries which is not accessible to the human mind. Praying to God to forgive us our debt is a way of getting rid of any hindrances to our prayer. For there is no rightous man who do good and does not sin. Asking for the forgiveness of sin rid you of the sin and you are also cleans from all unrighteousness. But it is also expected from the one who ask for forgiveness to also forgive the sins of others.
