Couple more photos of our working pens.
Crazy how the mighty Flint can change so quickly. This is the highest it has been at our place since the flood of 1994. The river had already receded about 3’ by the time the video was taken. It was a wild 48 hours and we got out fairly well compared to most of you.
Our prayers are going out to all the families and farmers who did not get as lucky as us.

Buy local every chance you can, most of you are no aware of how many of us “competitors” actually work together to make our operations work smoothly. I cannot emphasize how important the community is to making all of us successful.
Sometimes us locals may not be the easiest or the most convenient, but I bet we will do everything we can to make sure you are happy with our product.
The most important ingredients for your life are usually closer than you think. Buy from your neighbors and keep the community strong.
