The greatest thing a parent can do 👇🏽 Read below

Is to meet their children at the level they’re at. To give them presence and play, they will gift you with their laugh, happiness, joy and smile. It’s the best gift any parent can receive.. and it happens when you make it happen. Lessen the screams by not letting them watch screens. Be the battery that charges their soul.

Know what they’re experiencing and understand that they are just a child. To talk to them as if they know as much as we do is pointless. Yes, we need to be their parent, and they need to see us as a leader; if not, they won’t listen to us at all.

Also, let’s not forget about our relationship with ourselves and our loved one. We need to actively connect with ourselves and our partner. Know what one another is going through and give them the time they need. When someone becomes a parent, they’re reborn, and it’s a lot to process.

In the first years, we need to connect and communicate with them in a playful way. Kids want to play the most and love it when their parents join in on the fun. Their greatest fear is abandonment; to even joke about it can leave them with trauma. They want to feel safe and nurtured.

They love to be with their family the most, to adventure and explore their curiosity. It’s the first time they’re experiencing everything; it’s our responsibility as parents to let their curiosity be fulfilled. Many parents shut down their children’s adventurous side. This leads to kids hearing “don’t,” “no,” and “stop.” This diminishes their self-esteem and imagination.

Becoming a parent gives us another opportunity to relive our childhood with greater awareness, to heal and love.

We all want this, and it can be hard as a parent to provide this because of the world we live in. Many parents need to go off to work and spend their days working, providing for their family, when really all they want to do is be with their children. I was in this position and broke financially. That’s why I devoted myself to my own work and believed in myself. If you’re in this position, know you can too. Anyone can; it just takes time and persistence.
