State Champions! 1st ever team sweep in any division 1A-6A… in UIL History!!!!!!!

🚨 STATE CHAMPIONS! 🚨

The TRHS UIL mathematics team is the 2026 2A state champions!

This is the school’s first UIL state championship in mathematics. The group has won TMSCA state championships in 2025 and 2026.

Also, the TRHS math team SWEPT the first four places. This is an extremely rare occurrence, especially at the state meet.

Individual state medals include:
🥇 Osiel Rodriguez - Gold medalist and 2A individual state champion
🥈 Mario Alvarez - Silver medalist
🥉 Jonathan Cruces - Bronze medalist
Adrian Gaines - 4th place medalist

Congratulations this year on a clean sweep at district, region, AND state!
