Local unit of Georgia Retired Educators Association meets 2nd Monday each month Sept. - May at The Elks Lodge on Victory Drive at 11 am.

No matter the subject they taught, when the call goes out that the Bateman Community Center is in need of books all are willing to donate.
Headed by President Ina Woodruff, the Tift County Retired Educators donated in excess of 300+ books to be used by the community. Accepting the books Dr Tonya Tift. TCREA members Sherry Waldrop and Ina Woodruff.
