Baltimore Hunger Project
Baltimore Hunger Project, a 501(c)3, removes the barrier to learning by providing food and resources to food insecure children in our community.

One of our very best partnerships is with McDonogh School and Greatest Good McDonogh.
Today, pre-first students learned about food insecurity and then created Notes of Encouragement to tuck inside our weekend food bags. These simple messages remind children facing food insecurity that someone is thinking about them and cheering them on.
Kids helping kids is a beautiful thing. Thank you, McDonogh and Greatest Good McDonogh for helping raise a generation that leads with kindness and compassion.
Happy Mother’s Day from all of us at Baltimore Hunger Project. 💐
This week, every child we support received a special Mother’s Day craft kit — a paper bouquet and card they could create and personalize for someone they love.
For many families, moments like these matter just as much as the food. They create connection, joy, and the chance for a child to say “thank you” in their own special way.
A heartfelt thank you to a very special donor who made this project possible for all 2,600 children we serve. Small moments like this can mean so much to families.
Wishing a wonderful Mother’s Day to all the moms, grandmothers, caregivers, and loved ones in our community. 🌸
