Want to get a head start on your autumn decorating? I have a limited quantity of dried floral pumpkins ready! These are fresh, homegrown pumpkins that are topped with homegrown, dried flowers. Because the pumpkins are not carved, they will last for weeks or months if kept in a cool indoor environment, just like any other decorative fresh pumpkin.

There are some fun pops of color happening in the garden now. The celosia is coming on strong and I’ve had my first few straw flowers. The late summer zinnias are arriving earlier than anticipated in burgundy’s, mauves, golds and oranges. Everything is fast and slow at the same time right now… the heat has produced early buds on everything, but the lack of rain has made the plants a little lackluster. We just need some rain so everything can take off in abundance again 🌺🌼
