Project Spotlight: The Build my Future Event, put on by the Toledo HBA is one of my favorite events of the year. focused on capturing both the overall environment and the smaller details that define how the day goes. Having a mix of wide and detail images allows us to tell a more complete story across their website, marketing, and social platforms. This approach helps create a stronger and more consistent brand presence over time.
A common question I get from businesses is how often they should update their photos. In most cases, companies should be refreshing their visuals every two to three years, or sooner if there have been changes like hiring growth, new services, or a website redesign. Updated photography helps businesses stay current, consistent, and competitive. If your visuals no longer reflect how your company actually operates today, it may be time for an update.

Professional business photography should feel natural while still being intentional. Strong environmental images help companies show their people, workspace, and level of professionalism in a way that builds trust quickly. These types of images are especially useful for websites, recruiting efforts, marketing materials, and proposals. If your business has grown or changed over the past few years, your visuals should reflect that.
