It's getting to be that time of year again. It's too loud to sit in the club during the break and too hot to stand outside. WTF! I can't get away from the volume without sweating. 🥵

I finally have a gig where I need to take my own PA out. It's a small gig but I haven't taken my gear out since March of 2020. I forgot how much it sucked to load the van in the summer. I've had other gigs before, but I didn't have to take any gear out. 🤞

Gotta love it when someone gives you a yearly gig because they don't want it anymore and then takes it back the next year. 👍😠

Yep, relabeling my patch snakes. I've got shows all weekend I've gotta get ready for. I've got El Regreso on Friday at Whoopee Daze, The Hamptons Band on Saturday and I'm mixing a mariachi group for the opening for the Tigres del Norte concert at the Mesa Amphitheatre on Sunday. Lots going on.

Today is the 13th anniversary of Stellar Audio being in existence. It's been a little difficult this year, but it's still going and I'm still going. Thank you again to all of you that have helped me and given me work throughout this year, I very much appreciate it. Here's to another year.

A word of advise to musicians on stage. With everything going on on stage during a show, with the foot traffic, cable traffic and gear. Please, please, if you feel something under your feet while you're performing, please take a second to look and see what is under or around your feet. It maybe something important like cables, important connection points or some other equipment that may be an important part of your performance. If you're standing on it long enough, it could cause damage, okay. We try to make clear paths and areas but sometimes things get moved around and clutter happens. So if the floor ain't flat, check that. Your soundman will thank you, that is all.

I've got a gigs with Unstoppable Band tonight in Chandler and tomorrow in Tolleson. Should be a good weekend.

I have a gig tonight with Unstoppable Band in Scottsdale tonight. They haven't played at this place before so it will be interesting. They start at 8:00.
