Remember when ohming out a compressor; if the c-r and c-s doesn't add up to what c&s is then you compressor windings are more than likely bad. If your resistances do not add up dont forget to always check each terminal to ground. If you read any resistance to ground whether is is only on one terminal the game is over and the compressor is grounded and needs to be replaced. It is always best to change the entire condensing unit if it is a bad burn out.
