My old man, he’s gonna break my heart soon.

They say dogs are “man’s best friend,” but mine has fully committed to being my shadow. 😂

My sweet old man follows me from room to room, supervises every project, and somehow always knows the exact moment I sit down. He’s mastered the art of looking at me like I’m the most important person in the world… especially if I happen to have a snack. 🐶💙

He’s got a little more gray around the face these days and moves a little slower, but he’s still the best coworker, the best sidekick, and the best reminder to slow down and enjoy the little moments.

I wouldn’t trade my old man for anything. 💙

You know those days where the universe practically grabs you by the shoulders and says, “Not today.”? 😂

Welp, that was my morning.

The printer refused to print. The heat press decided it was going to heat . Next thing I knew, I had the press completely taken apart because, apparently, I also tech support🤷‍♀️🔧

After fighting with everything for way too long, I finally took the hint and walked away.

Now, those who know me know I have a hard time relaxing 🫣 so instead I went outside to ground myself. As an empath, I can usually tell when I’m carrying around everyone else’s energy, and digging in the garden always helps me reset.

Somewhere between pulling weeds and planting flowers, I also unlocked a new career path. I can officially add tree trimmer to my resume…Whoohoo 😂 also hearing a giant branch crack above your head is a great reminder to stay present.

Moral of the story? Sometimes nothing is working because you’re the one who needs a reboot. (read that again)

The printer can wait, the heat press can wait. It will still be waiting for me tomorrow. And occasionally, the best productivity hack is walking away before you end up arguing with a machine that’s definitely winning.

Now… let’s see what tomorrow has in store. 😅
