Your heart suddenly races, and you canโ€™t breathe.

You feel dizzy and lightheaded.

And maybe bodily sensations like stomach pains, hot flashes, sweating, shaking, and tingling sensations take over your body.

It can feel like youโ€™re losing control and will go over the edge.

Although it may be hard to believe when the panic sweeps over you, the reality is you are completely safe.

This is why itโ€™s important to know whatโ€™s happening in your body when you panic so it doesnโ€™t bluff you.

Then you can take heart everything is OK.

No matter what happens, you have complete control of your body and actions.

All thatโ€™s happening is stress hormones, like adrenaline, are causing you to experience some frightening symptoms.

As doctor Harry Barry explains: โ€œThe job of your stress system is to keep you safe and alive not to kill you. The symptoms of anxiety are uncomfortable, but they are not dangerous. You have my word as a doctor, this adrenaline rush will not kill you.โ€

There are simple medical explanations for every single one of your fears.
Heart palpitationsโ€ฆ
The shakesโ€ฆ
A churning stomachโ€ฆ
Lightheadednessโ€ฆ

Theyโ€™re all caused too much adrenaline in your body which causes your body to overreact.

All your symptoms are harmless.

Theyโ€™ll give you the reassurance you need to know everything is OK.
