Everyone enjoyed the talk by Rex Buchanan about petroglyphs. Tomorrow come hear Steven Arthur discuss the Walker Army Airfield.

Survey crew checking out one of the features at a site we recorded. Participants learned how to complete feature descriptions, create a detailed sketch map of a site, and fill out a kansas historical society site form. The students in the survey and site mapping class will get a chance to learn many of the same skills in greater detail over the next two days. Looking forward to it!
