As part of our BRAKE FOR BUSES campaign, when you see a Topeka Metro bus:

Slow down and expect frequent stops.

Never pass a bus that is loading or unloading passengers unless it is safe & legal to do so.

Watch for people crossing the street to reach or leave the bus.

Give buses extra room to merge back into traffic.

REMEMBER: A few seconds of patience can save a life. 🚍🚌

A reminder to Topeka Metro bus passengers that tomorrow on Friday, we will be operating Saturday Service (8:15 a.m. to 6:40 p.m.). The Customer Service Window will not be open on Friday.

Topeka Metro will NOT BE OPEN on Saturday, July 4th in observance of the Independence Day holiday. Thank you for your attention to this. 🇺🇸

Friday, July 3rd is the federal holiday for Independence Day. Topeka Metro will be open and operating Saturday service hours ⏰ between 8:15 a.m. to 6:40 p.m. If you are riding later in the day, make sure that you have enough time to get to your destination or the Quincy Street Station before the buses stop operating for the day. Please note that the Customer Service window will not be open on Friday.
