Combat Air Museum

The Midwest ATC controllers in the tower at Topeka Regional Airport/Forbes Field provide outstanding support to the children who attend Young Aviators and Scouting America Aviation merit badge classes at the Combat Air Museum. Congratulations to you all!

After Chuck, our art curator, loaned the La Padula collection of Richthofen's 80 victories to the Mid-America Air Museum in Liberal, he renovated the space for the permanent display of the collection when it returns. In the meantime, Chuck hung a collection of photographs primarily of the Blue Angels and Thunderbirds, along with a few other aircraft. These will remain on display until the La Padula collection returns in November.
