KMEA 2026! 🎶 Congratulations to each and every choir band and orchestra student who performed last weekend at the Kansas Music Educators Association Conference. Our students had the opportunity to learn some inspiring music and perform with hundreds of passionate students from around the state! Additionally, our Chamber Choir This Generation had the opportunity to perform a challenging set of advanced repertoire for music educators around the state! Congrats to our State Solo and Ensemble Performers!

Huge congratulations to both Chorale and Concert choir for receiving 1s at state large group. Some interesting facts that make this pretty special:

This year marks year 38 (I believe) of perfect 1s at contest for Chorale. Quite the legacy.

For Concert Choir, this is the 1st EVER superior score this ensemble has received at LGPE (at least that we have record of). These kids are INCREDIBLE workers.
