“I can’t adopt a kitten, I have a dog” 🙄
No excuses! These cuties have been fostered with (cat-friendly, low prey drive) puppers:

Just over half of our appointment slots have been booked. Use the link in the comments or on the event page to secure your spot(s)! Dogs and cats of all sizes welcome. Walk-ins will be limited and dependent on how many open spaces remain.
Thank you to Shawnee County Parks + Recreation for letting us use your space and Royal Canin for sponsoring this event!

From a boarded up house to game night - these four kittens have had quite the change in scenery. In partnership with Brown County Humane Society, Kansas we utilized our foster network to take these three week old kittens in. Brown County helps us find adoption placement for our older kittens, opening up space for us to take in tiny babies like these ❤️
Thank you to Shannon for bottle feeding this litter!

As the year reaches its half way point and kitten season is in full swing, we wanted to take a moment and celebrate all our team has accomplished. Team Kitten is a small foster based nonprofit rescue. We rely entirely on donations and the dedication of our fosters, volunteers, and supporters. None of this would be possible without our wonderful community.
There are challenging days, and sometimes the number of animals needing help feels overwhelming. Thank you for believing in our mission and cheering us on as we strive to make a difference for local felines.
Here's to seeing what the second half of the year brings!

Who ever said you can't have too much of a good thing has never had 3️⃣0️⃣ kittens ready to be adopted. Not to mention another 80 waiting in the wings.
Consider adding one of these cuties to your family as a little summer treat. Playing or cuddling with a new kitten is the perfect excuse to stay inside and avoid the heat.🔥
You can see all of our adoptables here: https://teamkitten.org/adoptable-cats/
Each adoption frees up a spot in a foster home. Helping us care for even more kittens in need!

❤️Update Lace and Vine have been adopted, together!!❤️
Meet Lace and Vine!
As you can probably tell, they aren’t your average sibling duo. Personality-wise, Vine and his sister Lace are your ideal kittens. Both are playful and funny, filled to the brim with your usual kitten antics. Raised around dogs and other animals, they are as friendly as can be! However, Vine is a special needs kitten searching for the perfect home.
He has both entropion (eyelids grow inwards so that eyelashes are constantly rubbing against the eyeball, causing irritation and infection) and microphthalmia (underdeveloped or abnormally small eyeballs). He will need surgery to remove part of his eyelids, but we need to wait until he’s older. We can’t wait to give him back his full vision so he can have the best life! The surgery will cost an estimated $500 and with kitten season in full swing and over 100 in our care, we could use some help. Whether it be donating or sharing our post, every little bit helps!
Vine’s adoption will be finalized when he’s recovered from surgery. But we don’t want their new family to miss out on his babyhood!
Vine and Lace would a great pair and we’d love for them to go home together. However, they aren’t bonded and could be adopted individually. Lace is a friend to all. From dogs, other cats, and people she’s never met a stranger. She’d flow seamlessly into any home with her cute antics and loving personality. Be warned, she hasn’t quite grasped the concept of personal space and loves to be right up next to you whenever possible. ❤️
Both have been spay/neutered and are healthy and up to date on their vaccines. Use the link in the comments to learn more and apply for vine and lace!
