Our team has been reading Ego Is the Enemy together, and this one stopped us in our tracks.

So much of what happens at Fellowship Hi-Crest doesn't look impressive from the outside. Showing up at the door before anyone arrives to make sure a new guest feels welcome. Folding chairs after a Serve Day. Setting out supplies at the Teacher Resource Fair so teachers can "shop" without any fuss. Running slides from a tech booth, no one notices unless something goes wrong.

It's easy to want the work that gets seen. This book reminds us to fall in love with the work that doesn't.

That's the kind of church we want to be. Not the loudest in the room — just the most faithful. 💛
