We are currently seeking an office administrator / dispatcher for handling clerical support and dispatching in our office. Ideal candidate will have excellent communication, organizational skills and have a working knowledge of the Topeka area. You will be handling all incoming phone calls and other communications with customers, techs and vendors, as well as scheduling, managing files, and invoicing, updating paperwork and other documents, and performing other general administrative duties and errands. Marks Overhead Door Service is currently seeking an office assistant for handling clerical support in our office. You will be handling all incoming phone calls and other communications with customers, technicians and vendors, as well as scheduling, managing files, entering bills and invoices, updating paperwork and other documents, and performing other general administrative duties and errands. We are looking for someone who is mechanically inclined, experienced preferred, but we will train, if the candidate is a hard worker. We are seeking individuals who can install/ repair sectional garage doors, sheet doors, rolling steel doors, install/ repair residential operators. The applicants we are looking for should be able to complete any install/ repair given to him/ her. The perfect candidate comes up with solutions, adapts, and overcomes the common problems at a job site. Must have a valid driver's license, pass a drug screening and background check. Qualifications and Skills
• Skills/Experience (preferred but not required) installing/repairing overhead doors
• Mechanically Inclined
• Welding
• Wood framing
• 110 volt and 220 volt electrical basics
• Strong attendance record
• Clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background and drug screen
• Ability to lift 75 lbs
• A commitment to deliver superior customer service
• Must have HS Diploma/GED
Responsibilities
• Identifies, analyzes, and repairs residential/commercial garage door(s)
• Performs preventative maintenance and proactive repairs when needed
• Represents company by serving as a direct company contact
• Provides repair vs. replacement options
• Responds to calls in a timely manner
• Provides sales leads to Sales Lead Coordinator
• Determines parts to order for repairs in a timely manner
• Complete paperwork for each job, including daily time, job status and duration
• Records parts, materials, labor and other cost data per job and return unused resources to warehouse
• Responsible to comply with OSHA guidelines and company safety policies and procedures
• Maintains truck maintenance and completes truck inspection daily
• Required to drive a company vehicle and must follow all driving and safety rules and DOT requirements at all times
• Other duties as assigned
Physical Demands
• Able to work at heights up to 20 feet
• Able to consistently to lift/pull/push/kneel/crouch/reach while handling tools necessary to install garage doors
• Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, and use depth perception.
• Able to lift 75lbs
