Sometimes as Coaches we tend to forget how important is to work the lower body!
Great Drill to do it is to tie up to Tennis Ball Carts and have them launching back for a defense Groundstroke and then coming under the rope for a ball in front of them transferring the way of the body.
Be patient and really open for your athlete to play with the footwork you have been working on and focus on the transfer and how they are creating space towards the ball while rotating and getting their unit turn in time!
Green Ball transition to Regular Tennis 🎾 Ball Forehand Circuit
The Regular Tennis ball is heavier than the Green Ball which means they will need more acceleration to be able to control the ball. More acceleration includes unit turn, using your body to your favor and short topspin swings (Racquet Speed).
Super proud Coach of my Green Ball Class which has been improving a lot since day one switching from continental grip into Semi-Western grip for their forehand as well as the proper footwork for each shot in the different areas of the Tennis Court.
