At the same meeting last Monday said they had $1 Million dollars set aside to build something in the Montara community, yet tells others there is no money in the budget for the splash pad. Confused as to which it is.

Aaron Mays was quoted last Monday at an event saying "Property Taxes are not that burdensome to most people" Not sure which people he is referring too, they are burdensome to most everyone.. When things are as tight as they are, every penny counts.. do we really want another 4 years of that?

Highlights from Monday's Rolling Meadows HOA Meeting/Debate. Monday night, myself, Aaron Mays (current County Commissioner for District 3), Rick Kloos & Dena Slatter (Senate race), were speaking to residents. Mr Mays said "Property Taxes are not that burdensome to most people" not sure which people he is referring to, but most everyone, Property taxes are burdensome. Mr Mays also said that after speaking to a resident, that was why they decided against the splash pad in Montara. This is statement is untrue. He claims they have $1 Million dollars set aside for something in Montara.. though, he was quoted as saying there was no money in the budget for the splash pad in Montara. Conflicting statements from Mr Mays.
