A heartfelt thank you to Texas Roadhouse Topeka and to everyone who joined us for the Fallen Officers Memorial Fund fundraiser on June 8th!

Because of your generosity, a combined total of more than $550 was raised through dinner and peanut sales to support the Fallen Officers Memorial Fund and help honor the brave law enforcement officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our community. 🇺🇸🖤💙

Whether you dined with family and friends, purchased peanuts, shared the event, or helped spread the word, your support made a meaningful difference. We are especially grateful to Texas Roadhouse for partnering with us and contributing to this important cause. 🙌

School may be out and summer may not officially be here yet, but it sure felt like a beautiful summer day at the June Capper Foundation Abilities Day event!

Participants enjoyed a fun-filled morning of B-I-N-G-O, exciting prizes, delicious sweet treats, and tasty coffee drinks while sharing plenty of smiles and laughter along the way. 😊☕🍪

Our Topeka Police Department officers and VIPS always enjoy spending time with this amazing group and being part of an event that celebrates friendship, inclusion, and community.

☀️ Capper Foundation

The Topeka Police Department is proud to announce the promotion of Jennifer Cross to Assistant Chief and Donna Eubanks to Commander, effective May 23, 2026.

Assistant Chief Cross began her career with TPD in 2004 and has served in Patrol, Support Services, Investigations, Training, and school-based policing. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated exceptional leadership, professionalism, and dedication to serving our community.

Commander Eubanks joined TPD in 1999 and has served in Patrol, Investigations, the Anti-Crime Team, and the Chief's Office. Her extensive investigative experience and commitment to excellence have made a lasting impact on our organization and the citizens we serve.

In their new roles, Assistant Chief Cross will provide executive oversight of the Investigations Bureau, while Commander Eubanks will oversee the bureau's daily operations.
