Today, our students had the opportunity to enjoy a special virtual lesson and session with Mrs. Autumn all the way from Korea—and they absolutely loved it!

We are beyond grateful for a dedicated team that continues to pour into our students, even from thousands of miles away. Mrs. Autumn will always be a part of The Learning Hub Academy family, and we are so thankful that she continues to share her experiences and knowledge with our students while abroad.
Opening our students' eyes to different cultures, traditions, and experiences helps them become curious, compassionate, and globally minded learners. Through today's virtual lesson, students learned about life in Korea, explored new perspectives, and had the chance to connect with someone they know and love from across the world.

Thank you, Mrs. Autumn, for reminding our students that learning has no boundaries and that the world is full of amazing places, people, and experiences to explore. 🌎✈️💙

🐣 Dress Down Fun Friday at The Hub! 🐣

Today is an exciting but bittersweet day at The Hub!
Just like our butterflies, it’s time for our Hub chicks to spread their wings and begin a new adventure. Over the past several weeks, our students have learned so much while helping care for our chicks. From watching them grow to learning about responsibility, life cycles, and kindness, this has been a wonderful hands-on learning experience for everyone.
Our little chicks have grown so much, and today they will be heading to the farm where they will have plenty of space to roam, explore, and thrive.
We are so proud of our Hub chicks and grateful for all the joy and learning they brought to our classroom.
Help us say goodbye to our Hub chicks and wish them a happy life on the farm! 🐥❤️🚜

Hi Hub! 🐥💛

This quarter for Social Emotional Learning, our students are learning the importance of caring for other living things through hands-on experiences with our Hub chicks! Our chicks are different breeds, colors, and sizes, helping us teach an important lesson, even though we may look different, everyone deserves kindness, love, care, and respect.

Throughout this unit, our preschoolers are building empathy, responsibility, patience, and gentle caregiving skills as they help feed, observe, hold, and care for the chicks each day. Students are also learning about life cycles, teamwork, communication, and how to use soft hands and kind words with both friends and animals.
Watching our little learners nurture and protect something so small has been such a meaningful experience. 💛 At The Learning Hub Academy, we believe some of the best learning happens through real-life connections, curiosity, and love. 🐣✨

For our Social Emotional Learning and Science curriculum, we have been learning all about life cycles! Our next lesson will focus on the importance of caring for another living thing, building responsibility, kindness, patience, empathy, and nurturing skills.

Next week, our students will participate in a fun survey where they will help name our chicks and learn step-by-step what it takes to properly care for baby chicks. Over the next week, you will see our students holding, feeding, cleaning, and caring for our Hub chicks as they learn the importance of gentleness, patience, teamwork, and compassion through hands-on experiences.

It’s been a long weekend, our Hubers are back learning 📖📚

Hi Hub! 🦋

Join us for the big release of our butterflies! This moment is extra emotional for us because, in just a few short weeks, we will also be watching our students spread their wings and fly off to Kindergarten.
Throughout our Science unit, students have been learning all about life cycles, and we connected this lesson directly to their own journey here at The Hub. They came to us as little caterpillars, sometimes shy, unsure, and still learning their way, but over the year they have grown into confident, smart, kind, and independent butterflies ready for their next chapter.

Watching both our butterflies and our students transform has been such a beautiful reminder that growth takes time, patience, love, and support. We are so proud of all they have accomplished and cannot wait to celebrate this special moment together! 💙🦋
