Way to go Towson University Department of Music Symphony Orchestra and our clarinet section! Under the direction of Professor Gotoff, we heard works by Towson University College of Fine Arts and Communication composition professor Jonathan Leshnoff, Tchaikovsky (featuring cellist Jillian Maier, concerto competition winner), and Schubert.

Congratulations to our Towson University Department of Music Wind Ensemble and our TU Clarinet section on another exciting concert! Led by Professor Steinmetz, we heard works by Frank Ticheli (featuring clarinet soloists Mylah Kittle, Ariel Foote, and the clarinet section), Reena Esmail, Omar Thomas, Morten Lauridsen, Aaron Copeland, and Leonard Bernstein. Join the Towson Clarinet Studio next week for our semesterly studio recital! The program features each studio member, showcasing works by: Kristen Denny-Chambers, Henri Rabaud, Malcolm Arnold, Gwyneth Walker, Johannes Brahms, Gordon Jacob, Jenni Brandon, and Gerald Finzi.

Our clarinet choir will be performing Miniature Town by Rika Ishige and Mirrors by TU student composer Elijah Mosely, which he wrote for us.
