Hello BG here, we need to talk about tomorrow. I’m gonna be fine. I’ll chill in my cage nice and safe at home, but we need to talk about my dog and cat friends. More dogs and cats are going to go missing tomorrow than any other day of the year. It’s very important that if you’re having people over and they’re going in and out of your house that your dogs and cats are secure in a place where they can’t run around someone’s legs and escape. It’s also very important that if you’re going to let children have sparklers that your dogs and cats are not around them. Sparks getting in an animal eye can cause so many problems for them, not to mention that hot wire on a delicate nose. Then we always must think about safety. Please have a bucket of water or sand to put those sparkler sticks in, they cause so many fires every year. It really is a shame. We’re having a drought all over the northeast, so everybody needs to be extra careful with their fireworks. Be sure you have a hose out there. Be sure your animals are secure. Be sure you have a safe and happy Fourth of July just like I’m going to here getting extra treats from my mommy. Rumor has it I might get to taste something called watermelon. I wonder if it tastes as good as mommy’s fingers. Those are my favorite things to chomp on.
