Project Cinema MI

Project Cinema MI provides access and opportunity to filmmakers of all ages and skill levels in Northwest Michigan through education, hands-on filmmaking, and networking.

Based on a successful screenwriting seminar in 2016, Project Cinema MI was formed to provide an encore 2017 screenwriting seminar with the addition of two screenwriting workshops and a screenwriting competition.

This year, the winning script will be produced into a short film by professional filmmakers. The film production component offers a compelling opportunity to writers of all ages in the community to exercise their creative voice and to participate in the film-making process. The project offers a positive impact to the community through education, cultural/art enrichment, and professional development.
