We’re officially heading out to set up Booth #19 for the Fresh Coast Fiber Festival! 🧶✨

We truly hope to see you there this weekend and cannot wait to share all of our new colorways, favorites, and surprises with everyone attending!

But if you can’t make it to the festival, we also have some very exciting news… 👀

Reaction Yarn has been invited to host a monthly pop-up shop at a major retailer starting next month! That means you’ll soon be able to shop our Traverse City-made hand-dyed yarn locally — without needing to attend a fiber festival.

Even better, our local customers will be able to place orders online and pick them up at the pop-up, helping avoid shipping costs altogether! 💜

We’ll be sharing all the details, including dates, times, and location information sometime next week — so stay tuned!

Another customer favorite… inspired by the customer, friend, and familiar face who probably spent more time at Knitology than anyone besides Randy and me. 💜🧶

Anyone who knew Dottie knew she truly was a delight. She brought sunshine, laughter, kindness, and just the right amount of sass everywhere she went. Her heart was enormous, and over time, she became much more than a customer — she became family.

We never really got the chance to say goodbye, which makes this colorway even more meaningful to us.

We worked closely with her son to create something that felt uniquely Dottie, using all of her favorite colors, and after the final skeins were dyed, we received the official thumbs up for what became Delightfully Dottie. ✨

Every time this colorway is dyed, it brings back memories, stories, and smiles. It’s one of those yarns that carries more than color — it carries love.

Now… while we apparently have a habit of creating colorways inspired by some of our favorite people after they’ve passed, let this be your gentle reminder that your life goal should not be “just dying to get a yarn colorway named after you.” 😅💜
