Grand Rapids Man Arrested for Possession of Narcotics

Benzie County, MI. On June 3, Traverse Narcotics Team (TNT) detectives identified a vehicle that was suspected to contain a large amount of illegal narcotics. Surveillance was conducted by detectives and a traffic stop was executed on the vehicle in Homestead Township by deputies from the Benzie County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO). The Benzie County canine handler and his canine partner assisted on the traffic stop and a search of the vehicle was completed.

Michael Roberson, 26 years old from Grand Rapids, was ultimately arrested after 90 grams of crystal methamphetamine, 31 grams of fentanyl, almost 10 grams of crack co***ne, and a large sum of cash had been discovered on him and in the vehicle.
Roberson was arraigned on June 11, 2024 in the 85th District Court for Possession with the Intent to Deliver Fentanyl, Possession with the Intent to Deliver Crack Co***ne, Possession with the Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine and Maintaining a Drug Vehicle. Roberson was given a $500,000/10% cash bond.
