In observance of Independence Day, all Joe Wheeler EMC offices will be closed Friday, July 3. While our offices will be closed, crews will remain on call and ready to respond should outages occur.
We wish all of our members a safe and happy Fourth of July as we celebrate 250 years of American independence with family, friends, and community. 🇺🇸🌭🎇❤️🦅

4:15 P.M.: Crews have restored service to members in the Hatton/Mt. Hope areas. The outage was caused by a fallen tree. There are still a few isolated outages throughout Lawrence County. Crews are actively working to restore power to the remaining members as quickly and safely as possible. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
We have an outage in the Hatton/Mt.Hope area that is affecting 1,700 members at this time. Crews are on the way to get the power back on as quickly as possible. You can see the live outage map at www.jwemc.coop .
