The SO GOOD Tour
-Music and Ministry-
I’ve been working on a new album all year. I am taking my time. No rushing.
Last year the Lord began to open up my heart regarding a new one. I, honestly, was not sure I would ever record another album.
He began giving me some cool vibes with deep lyrics. Some not so deep but good declarations of taking back what the devil stole in my last seasons.
Some old style blues with a hint of prophetic warfare, while others resurrecting music with a Christ focus and child-like bent.
He is still writing the album.
Last year as I stepped out towards a music tour, all Hell broke loose and I ended up in a recliner recovering for months. Not what I thought the year would look like. The events I was able to make were equipped with ice packs and a pained faith I could make it through.
The last few days the Lord has reminded me of a word He kept saying to me months ago, “Make Room.”
But on the heels of that, in all honesty, the devil has gladly reminded me of the calamities that happened in the past almost every time I moved back into music ministry.
Do not think that leaders do not also wrestle with flesh and blood.
I am still dealing with lingering effects of last year’s mess but this is me refusing to let the devil push me into a corner of fear.
I am refusing to bow.
I long to minister as much outside the walls as inside and I might just take it to the streets but while we’re wrapping up the album through the fall and waiting (and believing) for God to heal my body, I’m making a faith move.
So here’s to shaming the devil in Jesus name. There will be NO weapon that forms against me prospering. And I can’t wait for you to hear the new music 🎶🎼🎵
Ps. To my prayer warriors: Remain on your posts🩸
Love Much,
Shelly💐

The Dead End
Since we’ve been reading through Hinds’ Feet in High Places here in our Book Club I’ve had a stirring in my Spirit regarding one of the chapters.
It would appear the walk towards those high places were met with a sudden, dead end.
It is the place where you suddenly feel your heart sink. Where impossibilities are glaring and you begin to wonder, “Did I ever really hear God?”
Yet often in the mysterious ways of the Shepherd are hidden pathways unseen to the naked eye.
Pathways where faith becomes the plow and remembering WHO is leading you keeps you stable in what appears uncertain.
The place of a dead end often masks the better road chosen by the Lord. The one you never saw coming. The grand, yet risky, road that seemed too fearful to take.
You’ll think you might have to turn around and relinquish that dream but, no way. That dream is nearer than you know.
When all seems impossible it is the perfect setup for the God of the impossible to exalt Himself and show you His most extraordinary ways.
Should you find yourself facing a dead end, simply look up.
For you might well catch a glimpse of the hinds’ climbing the steep landscape as the Shepherd waves you “upward.”
There is a reason He says, “He makes my feet like hinds’ feet, And sets me upon my high places.” (Psalm 18:33)
That phrase, “he makes” means to “make equal to” to “resemble.” But my favorite one is “to bring forth,” and “to agree with.”
That dead end is merely bringing you into a faith agreement that nothing is impossible with the Lord.
It is placing you in a position that will bring forth those hinds’ feet of yours that have been molded through trial, trust, faith, and endurance.
Here me as I whisper,
The DEAD END…
…Isn’t where things stop… but where adventures often begin.
